The Rash

So the day after we got home from Disneyland (Thursday) Braden woke up with puffy red eyes and a nasty rash all over his body. Mainly on his belly button and upper thighs. I called the pediatrician to see if it could be from the amoxicillin he was on for 9 days or from something else. After bringing him in she said he was definitely allergic to the amoxicillin. She put him on some steroids and zyrtec and said it would get worse before it got better. The poor guy is miserable! Wearing clothes just makes the welts break out even more. I feel so sorry for the poor guy. This is what he looked like on Sunday after sacrament meeting. I guess the only upside is that it happened after we got home and not on the car ride home.
