Update

Where does the time go? It has been forever since my last post but that must mean that we've been way too busy having fun right?!? I do have to say that we have had our fair share of good times. Here are a few things our family has been up to since my last post:

Jackson tested and moved up to a purple belt. He broke his first board!



Maggie had her first dance recital at Springville High! She was soooo dang cute if I have to say so myself. She knew the whole dance and performed it perfectly.




One Saturday after doing chores all afternoon Brandon and I decided to take the kids sledding up the canyon at Jolley's Ranch. They have a couple of sledding hills and for about 10 bucks a family you can sled all you want. Brandon and I thought it would be best for one of us to go down with Maggie and the other one of us to go down with Brady just to be sure they were safe. Well after the first time down they both wanted to go by themselves so Brandon and I put them each on a sled and sent them down the hill. It was so scary to watch your 2 year old fly down the mountain and almost go over the huge snowbank but when we raced down to see if he was ok he had this HUGE smile on his face and said "again". We had so much fun that day and wondered why we hadn't gone before.

Last Saturday we took Jacks and Maggs skiing up at Sundance with our neighbor Shari and her 3 kids (Joel stayed home with Brady and Kyle). It was Maggie's first time on ski's so Brandon stayed with her on the rope toe and she did AWESOME!! By the end of the day she was turning and stopping. She absolutely loved it. I got to ski with Jacks, Bree and Ashlee. It was so much fun to watch them fly down the mountain. They all did so good and it was such a beautiful day for skiing. Jacks kept saying "this is the best day of my life"! I know how he feels. There is nothing better then a great day of skiing with your friends and family!
