Cabin Fever!!

This week was one CRAZY week. Jacks came home from school on Monday with a tummy ache and a low grade fever. I felt so bad for him but I figured that he just had the stomach flu. Well needless to say his mother of the year finally clued in that there may be something a little bit more going on than just a mild case of the stomach flu when he was still having the same symptoms on thursday night. So I called my good friend Anna at 8:00 that night to see if she could tell me what was up. I explained to her over the phone what Jacks' symptoms were and she said "well have you looked in his throat"? Sure enough he had these white sores on his tonsil's. I felt so bad for Jacks' we're waiting for the tests to come back but we're pretty darn sure he had strep. I never even thought to check his throat because he never once complained of it hurting. He is now on his way to recovery and doing much better. But poor Brady has been battling a cold for two weeks now. On Friday he took a turn for the worse and Sat. was diagnosed with an ear infection! I feel so bad for him because he is so miserable. Hopefully things will start looking up for the little guy! The highlight of our week was making valentine cookies and going to grandpa and grandma Brooks' house for dinner and to see aunt Marlene and aunt Ann who were staying in town for a couple of days and to see Brad, Sara, Kate, Sam, Scott and Anne (Brandon's brother and family) who just drove into town to spend the week!!
